Internet Porn Addiction
When speaking of porn addiction it is usually common to speak of internet porn addiction specifically. Why is this? Well for one, porn on the internet is plentiful and private. This creates the perfect recipe for an addiction to such. In fact, an internet porn addiction progresses at an exponentially faster rate than any other type of porn addiction.
Does this mean all is lost if you are addicted to porn on the internet? No, of course not, though it may feel that way. What it does mean is you have some tough choices to make. Do you get rid of the internet all together or perhaps get a decent filter/monitoring software. Perhaps you are in a job that requires you to use the internet on a daily basis. Is it time to go into another career field? These are decisions you need to study out and make yourself. What is saving and preserving your character worth to you? The reason for that question is simple; an internet porn addiction will quickly rob you of your great character traits

My boyfriend was addicted to porn in the first five to six months of our relationship and he said he would stop and he didn’t and i caught him again. He says he has now stopped and we have been together for 14 months now. I find it really hard to trust him and he says that he has not done anything since I caught him. We are about to take some big steps in our relationship and I want to be able to trust him completly. How do i know for sure that he is over his addiction? And even though he says I am perfect why did he have to look at porn? I just feel very unloved and hurt. Please e-mail me back at Rahel25@live.com i need some advice

I work for a software company called Covenant Eyes.
For those struggling with addiction I also recommend an accountability resource like ours. It isn’t like a filter; it simply monitors where a user goes on the Internet. We create detailed Internet-usage reports of every single URL visited. These reports cannot be edited or erased (like a computer’s Internet history) because all the information is housed by our servers. We also have an up-to-date scoring system that rates sites based on content and includes those numbers on the report. We have many families who use our service that are able to tell where exactly their children are going and when. For those who want to ramp up accountability, this is a great resource. Many people have trusted friends or even spouses as their accountability partners. It’s amazing what accountability can provide.
We also have a filter. Our filter is like other Internet filters and it is very robust. You can set filtering to different settings including sites you want to specifically allow or deny, and times of day you want the Internet to be accessed or not accessed. We also have a rigorous scoring system that is constantly updated.
